Taking Charge of my Life

I have recently decided to take charge of my life and make decisions that will benefit me in the long run. I can’t keep living in my past because what’s done is done. I can’t change a single thing that happened and as hard as that is to face sometimes I have come to terms with that. I am attending Stetson University in Florida and have made a life for myself out here. A life I honestly cannot picture leaving behind to move back home… I finally realized that New York isn’t the place for me I was lead to Florida for a reason. I plan on permanently moving down here as soon as I can. I am a lot happier down here and I feel as if it is the best decision for me. At first it was hard to face because I always imagined moving back home, but I am not meant to be there. It’ll be hard to move away but in the end it’ll all be worth it. I have the power to take this next step in my life, and I plan on doing things for myself that I never imagined possible. I just want to be happy, I want to be me. And living down here I can do that. I will not forget everyone in New York, and I will obviously make trips back home but I feel like living down here is more for me than living life in New York ever was. There are so many more opportunities for me down south, and I’d be stupid to give those up. With the support of my family I know I am making the right decision. This is my life, and I am making the necessary changes to be successful. So my quest for you is to challenge yourself to make a leap in a direction you never thought you’d go! Do something crazy! Make your life worth it!
